Nice Guy has the connotation of being safe and boring which no girl wants to date. The Bad Boy is someone who is spontaneous, dangerous, and exciting which makes for a more fun relationship. The truth is, however, that we want someone who lies on a spectrum somewhere between the two. I personally like my guys to be closer to the Nice Guy end.

It's not really the "niceness" that makes nice guys lose. It's the idea that you can't handle urself, making it easier for u to be walked over. Women want men who can stand up for themself, you dont have 2b a douche, just show ur strong side every now again. You can be a nice guy, but show u aren't a pushover and you'll get ur sweetie. ^_^

I'm thinking it depends on what one defines Nice Guy as. I, for one, think that women biologically want men who are strong in both
character and status, so Nice Guy loses because he lacks one or
both those things (carelessness, arrogance, empathy,

.. genuine. So the rational and long-term choice is Nice Guy. Yet Nice Guy is almost always in the "friend zone". So is it really all

..I should've been on antidepressants for years. Maybe it's because that where I grew up, depression was nothing more than feeling bored/blue and was easily cured with beer, laughter, parties and getting laid, not with meds. I mean no disrespect to anyone, but please make me understand/believe in depression, if there really is such a thing.

i feel the same way. i think that there CAN be people that need antidepressants because they have a chemical inbalance but i think that thoes people are also the people who commit suicide and need more than just meds and therapy. when im sad i find something productive to do and move on. people on antidepressents just want/need more attention.

I have almost the same things to say as you two already did. I think we live in an age where everything can be cured with a pill. Instead of exercising and eating good food, people take diet pills and supplements. Instead of curing "the blues" people take pills for depression. As said before, some people do have chemical imbalances, but many more would rather take a pill than address the...

underlying problems that are causing their mood. Lack of exercise, boredom, lack of sex, unemployment, etc can cause "depression" and too many people would rather take a pill to make it go away than actually fix their problems.
