My gf broke up with me two months ago. From the day she laid it out and said we were through, she admitted to kissing a guy from her work in three days and sleeping with him in the first week. She swears up and down she never cheated on me. Not that it matters anymore, but is she lying? Or am I just seeing the worst in people?

Also I should mention that they dated before she met me and dumped him for me, but they still remained very close friends in the year we were together.

There's no reason to believe she cheated. Sounds like she just wanted the other guy and dumped you for him. I think it sounds like she played it properly if you ask me. She jumped off one train before boarding another...

Maybe I am paranoid. Thanks, crustacean.

I was just in a similar situation. I was dating a guy, but was much more interested in a coworker. I decided to end things with my boyfriend so I could pursue this other guy. I never cheated on my boyfriend, and I didn't want to, so we broke up.

A friend of my girlfriend grabbed her ass at a bar. He knows me and knows we're together. She still thinks he's a "good guy" and say that he's just "socially awkward." Thoughts?

WTF? she wants it! No selfrespecting woman allows a man to just grab on her ass, who is not her man, and still call him a good guy.

I agree with Aries. Your options, from a John Wayne movie point of view, are as follow: kick his ass, kick his ass and dump her, kick his
ass and slap her around for a while before you dump her(don't do
this one) or dump her. As you can see, there's a lot of "dump her"
in that phrase. Whatever you do, do NOT question the ways of
John Wayne.

I agree with Aries.. unless you guys are swingers.. then I have NO clue what to think. I am gonna start a topic on that cause I am confused by a post someone made yesterday about RULES in that .. (note* I am not a swinger just curious about rules lol)

Sometimes that is her point, Turk. She doesn't want a relationship that follows "rules" she wants a relationship based on trust. She told me that she handled it and I am suppose to trust her that she did. She says that she doesn't want to date other people and that she'll never cheat on me, but that she wants to experience things without having to check in with me every five minutes.

This past Friday, her and I drove 200 miles to meet her parents. The next day I came down with a fever of 102F. All day I was in one of their spare beds tossing and turning. That night while I was asleep, she climbs in bed with me just to let me know she's there for me. The next morning, her father wakes her up pulls her into the kitchen and yells at her. We are in our mid 20s. Thoughts?

Stay out of it, this is between a father and his daughter.
She might be twenty in the eyes of... well everyone... but not to her father, and he needs to deal with that, but its not easy, and it has nothing to do with u.

He's a f****** crazy asshole who is under some delusion that his "little girl" has never seen a boys wee wee before. Punch him in the dome!

It's none of your business since you two aren't married. But her dad needs to wake the f*** up and realise her precious is a 20
year old woman in love and cut the over-protective bullshit.

its probably not acceptable in their culture. even if you don't agree, be respectful of their beliefs. it's not your house.
